Shanna Lim is a veteran of the DC's dance and performance art scene whose work is empowered by human interaction, tears, joy and the rawness of street art.  She is an established body painter having done work for companies like Cirque Du Soleil and The Shakespeare Theatre.   She is an arts educator for Words Beats & Life, Youth In the Arts Imagine, Music in Me, former resident artist at Davis & Elkins College, with recent site specific workshops for Kundu House Project India,  Peradeniya University Sri Lanka & Irish World Academy of Music and Dance University of Limerick .  Works have been presented or commissioned throughout Sri Lanka, New York and the DMV area including; By the People Festival,  Mayor Muriel Bowser, Light City Baltimore, OMI international, Brooklyn Wildlife, Art All Night, the Newseum, Embassy of Sweden,  Nuit Cirque, The Filmore and more.
